Charlie had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day! On Christmas Eve, we went down to 'Old Town' where there are luminaria, a live nativity, a huge Christmas tree made of christmas trees, and caroling. He was enraptured by the a capella group singing carols and didn't quite know what to make of petting the donkey (who was part of the nativity scene). On Christmas Day, he played intensely for several hours and then had a big nap. Thank you to all the Grandparents who did their jobs this holiday! There is certainly no shortage of toys - he has many many years of quality play ahead! Love to all... Enjoy these brief snippets of the festivities.

Charlie & The Butternut Squash: Day 2
We are so happy to report that Charlie is loving the adventure into solid food. Clearly his fine motor control is improving so much (as evidenced by the spoon grabbing). The "gathering" in with his arms to the mouth skill that has been developing over the past few weeks makes perfect sense as he gets more and more interested in food!
Charlie & The Butternut Squash Puree
This is video of Charlie's very first encounter with food on a spoon...
